SC Next 2025: Logistics

SigmaCamp Next 2025 is just around the corner. Please read over some logistics below:

Check-in and Check-out procedures

The camp will take place at Silver Lake Camp and Conference, Sharon, CT. Camp address is: Silver Lake Conference Center, 223 Low Rd, Sharon, CT 06069. Visit our directions page for suggestions on how to get there. Just a reminder, there is very little to no service about 10-15 minutes drive around the camp as well as on-site. Please keep this in mind while planning your travel.

All campers are expected to arrive at the camp on Sunday, August 10th, between 2:00 pm and 3:00pm and depart on Sunday, August 17th, between 10:00am and 11:00am.

Check-in begins at 2:00 pm. We will not be doing early check-in.  

Last day of camp is Sunday, August 10th. Checkout starts right after breakfast (10am). All campers must be picked up before 11am. In accordance to a long-lasting tradition, after 11am all remaining campers will be packed into boxes together with lab equipment and shipped away until the next year.

If you are not picking up your camper yourself, instructions will be posted later on how to provide pickup authorization.

Day Between Camps

If your camper is attending both of our programs, SigmaCamp and SigmaCamp Next, they have a few choices of what to do on the day between the two camps:

• Stay on site: There will be no academic activities on this day, but campers will get to enjoy the rest of what the camp site has to offer. The extra night costs $100 and can be paid for ton CampDoc through Add-Ons.
• Leave the site: You may pick up your camper during the allotted pickup time (10-11 AM) and bring them back the next day during the allotted drop-off time (2-3 PM).

Staying in Touch

Instructions for contacting SigmaCamp staff or your child through the SigmaTelegraph will be posted later. Campers should have the email addresses of everyone they would like to contact while at camp with them. We will also keep a blog accompanied with pictures.
